Carolyn spent the night in the ICU at St. Anthonys hospital Sunday evening. She underwent a four hour surgery to repair the spinal vertabrae that were fractured and dislocated. The surgery went well, and now she needs to rest and let her body heal. We are hoping the ventilator can be removed soon, so she can talk with us. She is alert and awake and has use of both arms, although her right arm is stronger. She also has regained a little feeling in her left leg, which is great news. The doctors cannot predict her recovery time or her functionality as each case is different. Please pray for Carolyn and her recovery, this is the best gift she can receive.

  2. Dear Carolyn,

Tony and I were 'so' excited and encouraged to read these reports of your recovery. Please know we hold you and Jerry very close to our hearts and in our prayers. We can't wait to see you next, when you are up to having visitors! In the meantime we will continue to pray, as will many other pray warriors we've contacted.

God's abundant peace and comfort to you,
    Amy & Tony Guido
